I went to COSPAR 2022 in Athens during the third week of July, and I gave a solicited talk on ACE and SuperTIGER.  I "made it my own".  The joint-mission talk has been Bob Binns' for the past few COSPARs, but he's retiring.  The talk went well enough, I think, but for me the real highlight was visiting Athens for the first time ever.  Visiting the Acropolis and the Acropolis museum were unforgettable experiences, and the food was unbelievably good -- lots more meat than I may have expected, too.

After COSPAR -- and a horrible layover in Dulles on the way home -- we went for a family summer vacation in Cancún, at the Fiesta Americana Grand Coral Beach, for our fourth visit (third as a family).  The hotel has gone all-inclusive, which took a bit of getting used to, but the service, as always, was impeccable and attentive.  We had two unbelievably good dinners at Le Basilic.
