Yellow Belt
William got his yellow belt
today.
At the beginning of Tae Kwon Do class today, the
kids had their promotion ceremony, complete with certificates and new belts.
Apparently, they didn't have a size 0 belt for William, so his new yellow belt
was rather too
long.
William receives his belt and certificate.
The new yellow belt (and other kids similarly promoted) in action.
Given that we may be moving closer to the Pasadena area this year, we spoke to a real estate broker today. I'm picky, and frankly, I'm not willing to settle for a house and neighborhood less nice than what we live in now, though I'm willing to pay more to get an equivalent house and neighborhood closer to Pasadena. I'm also willing to keep commuting into next year, if necessary. During our meeting, Hsuan occasionally babbled things like how we have more square footage than we need or that we have rooms that we don't currently use. I had to bite my tongue to not remind her that we have growing boys who will soon need as much space as we can give them. Frustrating.
