Jessica, Ratatouille, and no iPhone


I didn't want to wait in line.



Jessica is one of James' and William's teachers from My Gym. She's one of our favorite teachers, energetic, fun, and (of course) good with kids. Today was Jessica's last day at My Gym; she's moving to the East Coast. We'll miss her. (Most of the My Gym teachers are young, so there's a lot of turnover as they graduate high school or college and otherwise move on.)

The big news nowadays is the release of Apple's iPhone yesterday. I decided I'd not brave the long lines at the Apple or AT&T stores and instead saw Ratatouille by myself yesterday. I wanted to see it by myself, so I could enjoy it in peace. After the movie, on the way to pick up the boys from daycare, I drove by Old Pasadena and saw the long lines in front of the Apple Store and the AT&T store. I knew I didn't stand a chance of snagging an iPhone.

This afternoon, after My Gym, I brought the family out to see Ratatouille. As always, another Pixar hit.
