At the LA County Science Fair, 2nd place in his category and division. Moves on to the CA State Science Fair, though he has to register, etc.
I was a judge (Physics, Senior Division — not his division) at the LA County Science Fair this year, and I will also judge at the CA State Science Fair again. Not Intel, though — that will be in Pittsburg this year.
W also recently advanced in Boy Scout rank to Star Scout.
Maybe now the nightmares will stop
They probably won’t, at least not immediately, but they weren’t all that frequent to begin with, anyway. Once or twice a year, but they’re the kind of nightmare that makes me sweat through the sheets. But maybe they’ll taper off, finally.
